R&B singer Chris Brown will reportedly step off the stage and turn off the spotlight for good; according to reports, Brown will “quit music”.
The singer who has had more than his share of brushes, run-ins and problems with the law took to his Twitter page to announce his “resignation from music”:

The R&B singer further stated that he is “tired of being famous for a mistake” perhaps referencing when he assaulted Rihanna when he was 18. The two were intertwined into a public and volatile relationship, broke up but have since repaired their friendship. They have been photographed together in public.
Brown who is set to release his sixth studio album “X,” August 20, also made reference to his home not feeling like home anymore as well as other (cryptic) messages that indicate that he is ready for a hiatus from music and entertainment. Only time will tell if Brown will permanently leave music.
