                          Majeed Waris Hit's Brace In Black Stars Preparatory Match Ghanaian footballer Abdul Majeed Waris so blessed with talent, had a brace yesterday in the Black Stars shake up game with Asokwa Deportivo as part of their preparation towards the crucial play off game on next week Tuesday against the Pharaohs of Egypt.    Ghanaians are optimistic the Black Stars will have a convincing win over the Egyptian team come tuesday at the Baba Yara sports stadium.

           Stay focused to beat Egypt - Asantehene The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has cautioned the Black Stars to eschew complacency as Ghana clash with the Pharoahs of Egypt in the first leg of their 2014 FIFA World Cup play-off in Kumasi on Tuesday, October 15. He said they ought to go all out to ensure victory, describing the match as one they cannot afford to lose. The Egyptians, he said, though were an experienced side, but with determination and commitment the Stars can overcome them. Otumfuo Osei Tutu was addressing the technical team and playing body when the Stars paid a courtesy call on him at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on Friday. The Asantehene called for unity amongst the playing body, telling them to be disciplined and play according to instructions. The entire nation, he said was behind them and asked the Stars not to disappoint.       Source: GNA
