Government Hands Over ‘Sammy Awuku’ Tape To Police The Ministry of Information has handed over the tape which allegedly contains the voice of Mr Sammy Awuku attacking the integrity of the Supreme Court judges to the Police for investigations. According to the Public Relations Director of the Ghana Police Service, DSP Cephas Arthur, a copy of the tape has been handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) by government. DSP Arthur who made this known whilst speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM Tuesday afternoon said the police has begun investigations into the tape, adding that when necessary, Mr Awuku would be invited to assist in investigations. He also noted that any other person who could assist in the investigations would be invited.
