Do You Agree : Kumasi  Don’t Appreciate Their Own - Omanhene of Kessben fm ... Kumasi based radio presenter Alvin Adu-Boakye has passionately lamented about how the people of Kumasi treat their personalities. The morning show host on the waves of Kessben 93.3 fm  also known as ‘ Omanhene’ has the view that until Kumasi change their attitude concerning their personalities, start endorsing them and  taking risk for them, the possibility of losing them to Accra is high. He believes in recent times the "Kumasiano " in  part of our country speaks so much ill about their personalities, having little knowledge about them. Some of these popular personalities he cited included Men of God , Radio presenters ,Musicians , Actress/Actor etc.. The highly respected morning show host who is currently on top of his game in terms of listenership in the Kumasi metropolis and beyond  said “the unfortunate thing is, in our beloved Kumasi, we don’t endorse our own.” Omanhene , having the title " My Lord " believes that Kumasi has all the right men in place to facilitate bigger and better initiative to place Kumasi back on the map of Ghana but the " Pull Him Down " syndrome hung our neck. “In Kumasi, sometimes it feels like we are wasting our time and energy. The "Kumasiano " sometimes even try to kill your talent ". He added if Kumasi keeps on disrespecting and degrading their own, its highly possible all their personalities will cross carpet to Accra where their hard works  will be appreciated.
