Former Kotoko right-back, Baba Abdul Rahman, now Greuther Furth defender  has signed a one year deal with spors giants nike.

The sports apparel giants nike have signed a new one year kit deal with an option of extending it to a three-year dear with the Ghana youth international.

The deal with the American sportswear firm was approved at a meeting with Rahman’s managers, Proton Sports Services, together with a German consultancy firm Spoccsports Consultants.

The one-year deal, financial terms of which were not released, will make Rahman wear only Nike-branded products, with the American apparel manufacturer keen to utilise his profile to represent the future and the new generation of African footballers who aim to lead the African football revolution.

In 30 games this season, Rahman has featured 16 times this season for Bundesliga side Greuther Furth who lie bottom of the league log with 18 points.
