The date for Nana Owusu Ansah, (father of sports pundit Ike Owusu Ansah) funeral has been announced. The funeral will be held on Saturday, 4 th October, 2014. Ike’s father passed away on 23 rd August at the Emmena Hospital around 3:30pm after spending days on the sick bed . The late Nana Owusu Ansah’s body will be taken to his hometown in Nkwanta –Patase 2km from Kodie-Offinso road on 4 th October, 2014 for the burial service. Apparently the funeral will be of a public nature before a private family gathering that will be held at the same Nkwanta Patase. The funeral rites will also be taking place at Nkwanta –Patase off Kodie-Offinso road on 4 th October, 2014 from 1pm – 6pm. Thanksgiving service is slated for Sunday 5 th October, 2014 at the New Tafo Baptist Church in Kumasi.

    Ace comic actor Agya Koo has slammed movie producer Samuel Nyamekye of Miracle Films Production for making derogatory remarks on his movie career.  The angry actor over the weekend on Boss FM, a Kumasi-based radio station accused Samuel Nyamekye and other movie producers for plotting evil and sidelining him from the movie industry. In 2014, Sunday 24 August, Host of “Daybreak Kapital” on Kumasi based Kapital 97.1; Kojo Marfo was shot by unknown “terrorists” in Kumasi and left for dead.   Weeks on, Kojo has taken a deep breath and returned to radio.
