She welcomed her child with husband Bright kankam Boadu on April 3rd, the Angel Sports presenter revealed to me in friendly chat on Whatsapp. Describing the new addition as "perfect", Kankam wrote: " God is Good" on his Whatsapp status. The family is proud to say "our son arrived on 3rd April -  two days after April fools day". The sports presenter married his wife in November 1 2014 and on April 3rd 2015, they have welcomed their new addition to the Kankam family.

Female artiste Kaaki is still in grief over the demise of her fellow musician ‘KB’ who died on Sunday 22 March 2015. He was well until around 1:00pm on the said day when he left his home at Spintex on foot to a studio in the neighborhood. He collapsed a few meters from the house and was rushed to Inkoom clinic, a private clinic where he was given some first aid treatment and later referred to LEKMA hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. His body was later deposited at the 37 Military hospital for autopsy. Dance-hall musician Shatta Wale was embarrased on Saturday 21st March after fans got off their seats while he performed to a live band performance of his songs at the GN Bank awards held at the Accra International Conference Center. The “ Fe Di Paper ” dance-hall musician put up an abysmal performance with a live band and also sang off beats even though he had come prepared for the show. It was a pity majority of the fans had to take leave of their seats. The maiden public awards was by Spyder Lee Entertainment, organisers of the GN Bank Awards.

Drake’s surprise album has set records on Spotify. The music streaming service said on Tuesday that the rapper’s new album, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late , set the record for most streams from an album in its debut week in the US. The album, released on Friday, was streamed more than 17.3 million times in three days. Drake’s 2013 album, Nothing Was the Same , previously had the record for most streams in a debut week with 15.8 million. The new album also set the record for most streams in a single day for an album in the US with 6.8 million streams on Saturday. Billboard reported that the album will sell about 500 000 units in its first week.

Police found drugs in Bobbi Kristina ‘s house in the wake of her near drowning … this according to her family. We’ve confirmed … over the weekend cops went back a second time to search the house. The first time they went they found nothing, but we’re told they went a second time and seized several items. Cops will not confirm they found drugs, but family sources tell TMZ authorities told the family that is indeed what was found. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … they believed from the beginning Bobbi Kristina ended up face down in a bathtub as a result of drugs. As for why cops didn’t find anything during the first search … we’re told they were only looking for items that were “out in the open.” Law enforcement tells us the second search was more thorough.

Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has been involved in a minor accident today 3rd February. Today happens to be an unfortunate day for actor John Dumelo as he turns 31. Celebrating his earth day today, February 3rd, little did he know his first birthday gift would be a car accident. The  actor damaged his Toyota truck in an accident which occurred at East Legon, near the American House in Accra few minutes ago. An eyewitness who was at the accident scene said nobody got hurt.
