Kapital sports presenter Benjamin Yamoah has quit Sports Express Show after 6 years with the network. Ray Charles Blog reports the Kumasi based sports presenter, has quit Kapital 97.1 FM to join re branded Ultimate 106.9 Fm. Bengazy as it stands now will be in the company of Atta POKU and Kwame ADARKWA in propagating the vision of the station in-terms of sports presenting. “I’m not too bad now, I’m getting better. I just need to move on, simple as that.” His decision comes a week after the broadcaster negotiated a secret exit by signing a juicy deal with Kwabena Duffuor's Ultimate FM. Benjamin Yamoah started radio at Garden City Radio with Fred Achie and Danny Owusu Ansah as his bosses. The Bohye 95.3 broadcaster Eddie Brown, who for more than five years was a familiar voice on radio in kumasi has died at the age of 31. Eddie Brown "The God Son" according to Papa Wasty, a radio colleague had been suffering from Jaundice which he was diagnosed with in months ago. Colleagues in the radio industry said in an interview with Ray Charles that Eddie was respected for his intelligence, integrity and professionalism. He had worked in numerous radio stations in the Ashanti Region, ranging from Dove Fm - now Sikka Fm, Anigye Fm - now Y FM and Bohye Fm. Tributes poured in to the father-of-one after his demise.   Ghanaian comedienne, Afia Schwarzenegger, has conceded that the worst thing she had ever done in life was insulting Ghanaian charismatic pastor, Bishop Daniel Obinim. The actress a few weeks back started a campaign against “fake pastors” and urged Ghanaians, Christians in particular to “say no to fake pastors and show them the red card”. The campaign which started on social media, Facebook, came on the heels of heated exchanges between her and Bishop Obinim, who is the Founder and Leader of God’s Way International Ministry. The Police Hospital in Accra has said vehemently that it cannot be blamed in anyway whatsoever for the death of Sima Ibrahim, the incarcerated boss of the Exopa Modelling Agency who died at the facility last Friday. The hospital has said that claims of negligence being levelled against its staff are unfounded. It has, however, declined answering questions on whether or not it conducted an autopsy on the remains of Sima to ascertain the actual cause of his sudden death. Reports say there was no permanent pathologist at the Police Hospital and therefore Sima’s family had to send his remains to the 37 Military Hospital where an autopsy was conducted. The imposter , Kelvin Ogodogu, was arrested on Saturday, November 15 through the help of some of his neigbours in Kasoa in the Central region, for trying to defraud a US-based Nigerian lady. The Nigerian, posing as Majid Michel on Facebook, solicited funds from unsuspecting persons, including the US-based Nigerian lady, Ikay, to bury his mum. P-Square, the Nigerian R&B duo composed of identical twin brothers Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye are mourning their father who passed away on Monday 24 th November 2014. According to reports, the father of the duo, late Pa Okoye recently had a successful knee surgery and was up and about going for physiotherapy when he fell and died.   Sometime past, the Naija R&B twins had a strained relationship with their Dad due to their chosen career. They however amicably solved  their differences and since then, they enjoyed a good relationship until his sudden demise. May he Rest In Peace.

  Miss Nadia Ntanu, Ghana’s representative at 2014 Miss World pageant, has officially moved into camp for the 2014 finals. This year the event returns to London, its original home. The finale will be on December 14, but the contestants have already arrived and the sports events are under way. The “swimsuit competition” for Miss World pageant last year was canceled because the organizers, feared a possible terrorism in Indonesia. Nadia checked in at the Marriote County Hall in London, where she joined over a 100 others. Ghana is the current holder of the Miss Africa title, the only African country to have made last year’s top three.
