Exclusive: Alhaji Tanko to replace Kwame Adinkra on Angel in the Morning

    

Host of 'Ark in the Morning', Alhaji Tanko is to take over 'Angel in the Morning' breakfast show following the shock departure of Kwame Adinkra.

Tanko, the best radio personality at the 2014 edition of (RTP) Awards in the Brong Ahafo, who currently presents Ark in the Morning will switch camp to Kumasi based Angel 96.1Fm on Wednesday 11^th February.

The news of Tanko’s appointment came in the discussion after Adinkra, one of the longest servants on Angel Fm announced he was leaving to Atinka Fm in the Nation’s capital.

Sharing my opinion, Tanko’s early appointment comes amid widespread speculation that either Yaw Sebe or Akwasi Boateng would land the slot.

Adinkra’s departure and Tanko’s move to the slot comes amid pressure on Angel fm to make Angel in the Morning appeal to both the younger and old demography.

Alhaji Tanko comes to Angel fm from the radio world, with top class touch, working for several networks in Sunyani as morning show host.
