HIV/AIDS campaigner Joyce Dzidzo granted bail

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has granted bail to HIV/AIDS campaigner Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, who was invited for questioning on Thursday.

The CID headquarters in Accra invited HIV/AIDS campaigner Joyce Dzidzor Mensah for interrogations to ascertain her HIV status.

Head of Public Relations at the CID ASP Joseph Benefo Darkwa said she was invited for questioning following a complaint from the Ghana AIDS Commission.

The complaint follows a confession by Joyce that she had deceived the Commission about her HIV status, which got her a job as an AIDS Ambassador
