Hot : Jackie Chan kills death hoax with photo of himself
When a rumor about Jackie Chan's death spreads across the internet, who better to clear it up than the actor himself? According to an online rumor, Chan died in a car accident in Austria. Though several websites were quick to discount the story, that didn't stop people from continuing to share it.
That is, until Jackie stepped in. He posted a message on Facebook Friday (June 21), poking fun at the reports. "Today, everybody called to congratulate me on my rumored engagement. Afterward, everybody called me to see if I was alive." The message continues, "If I died, I would probably tell the world!"
Jackie also included a photo of himself with the current day's newspaper, ransom-style.
He ends the message talking about his dogs, noting they are also in fine health and clarifies he has Golden Retrievers, not Labradors.
Fans of the martial artist will be delighted to know that he has accepted a role in "Expendables 3," which is supposed to be in theaters August 2014.
