 Dangme Group YOO KAMA Threatening To Sue Movie Producer Paul Gee On A Scene In The Movie Konfo Anokye.

The most talk about movie, Okomfo Anokye is in the news again.

A group of females of the Dangme ( krobo's ) called YOO KAMA are  threatening to take the matter up at the court, the reason being a scene in the movie disgracing and digrading their females .

The movie Okonfo Anokye seeing  Agya Koo (apparently playing the role of the legendary Ashanti traditional priest, Okomfo Anokye) taking his bath on the banks of a river.

A scene in the movie saw some three women  spying on his nakedness when taking his bath, this resulting to a curse of the three women acting as krobo women.


Speaking on Adom news, the spokesperson for the displeased group, Madam Maku expressed their anger saying "  Any Woman  who sees her self as a lady got annoyed about that, such words should be drawn cautious. No i wan't repeat it, it's awful. we beleive our brother we are talking about has admitted the movie is disgracing we Dangmewomen we are not happy with that, in short terms we are going to court " .

 

To have both sides, the producer of the said movie Paul Adjei, Chief Executive of Paul Gee Productions well known in the movie industry as PAUL GEE admitted though proper investigations were not done in that particular scene.

" Adding he pleads with the group to let it go because it's just a movie, in movies we use fictions to portray the movie as real ".

This the YOO KAMA group of the Dangme's women going to court to seek redress..
