  Asante Kotoko Fires Back On Top Of Glo Premier League

Kumasi Asante Kotoko are back on top of the Glo Premier League table after a late goal to defeat Heart of Lions 2-1 on Wednesday action in Kpando.
The must win battle saw Kofi Nti Boakye of Kotoko scoring after 24 minutes in the game but Kweku Andoh equalising for Kpando Hearts of Lions.

Kotoko were two points adrift joint-top Chelsea before kick-off but the slip by the Berekum side, who could only draw away with Arsenal in Dormaa allowed the Porcupine Warriors to leapfrog them to the summit.

Kotoko's Seidu Bancey scored in injury time when the  game appeared to be heading for a draw  to stun the Kpando team .

The win was soo crucial for the Porcupine Warriors in their quest for a successful title defence with the season left with two more games to go.
