Bright Kankam Boadu, head of sports with Kumasi based Angel Fm has denied rumors that Samuel Darko widely called Summer has resigned from his post.

Kankam exclusively revealed Summer isn’t quitting the sports show, despite previous speculation of his contract expiration.

Below are snippets of our conversation;

Ray: Kankam i want a vivid account of the where about of your colleague Summer?

Kankam: He travelled to the United States of America on personal issues he needed to handle.

Ray: Its allover he is no more with your team. Some are also saying his contract has expired and he is not ready to renew. Can you clarify?

Kankam: That’s inaccurate Ray. He arrived in Ghana three days ago.

Ray: Oh ok… then hopefully he will be on air by Tuesday?

Kankam: Yes he will join the team.

The sports presenter has been linked with moves to Kasapa in recent weeks, following her success on Angel sports. However, Kankam has dismissed all the rumours that he has departed the radio station owned by Dr. Kwaku Oteng.
