"We are still here, and we appreciate all the community support and loyalty we've received during our 16 years," said Kojo Marfo, the morning show host of  the station.

Since its establishment , Kapital 97.1 fm has struggled like all the other media, but the medium still kicks, and doing  better job educating the broader community about who they are.

I think (lasting 16 years) pretty much speaks to the type of  business the station runs, One of the things Kapital radio pride itselves on is working with the community and listening to what they want.


The current Kapital radio staffs are made up of great men with quality broadcasting experience in  full-time positions. Boosting of  Kojo Marfo , NBY , Virgin Prince , Ny Dj , Korsi Aseseh , Atta Poku etc...

Kapital Radio 97.1 FM is a broadcast radio station from Kumasi, Ghana, providing African Adult Contemporary music, News and Sports and while the programming still leans heavily on good tunes  and local talk shows, the weekend programming includes additional music genres with some jazz and rhythm and blues.
