The 37-year-old Nigerian, who was arrested by the police for impersonating Ghanaian actor Majid Michel has been jailed 10 months with hard labour on Friday. The imposter , Kelvin Ogodogu, was arrested on Saturday, November 15 through the help of some of his neigbours in Kasoa in the Central region, for trying to defraud a US-based Nigerian lady. The Nigerian, posing as Majid Michel on Facebook, solicited funds from unsuspecting persons, including the US-based Nigerian lady, Ikay, to bury his mum. Kelvin Ogodogu was arraigned before the Ledzokuku Krowor Municipal Assembly (LEKMA) Magistrates’ Court in Teshie on Thursday, November 20 where he initially pleaded not guilty to the charges of impersonation and attempted fraud. Actor Osita Iheme known as Paw Paw has debunk circulating speculations that he and his close friend, Chinedu Ikedieze(Aki) have part ways. Earlier in the week, reports on several tabloids suggested that the two Nigerian actors were not in good terms leading to a split but in an interview, Osita Iheme has alluded to the fact that; “Aki was trying to explain why we no longer lived together in our former apartment, which was because the owner of the apartment wanted to make use of it and the fact is that we are not getting younger. THE RAY CHARLES BLOG - At long last “Joe Laka's medium,” will be available to listeners of SILVER 97.5, a new FM radio station in the Kumasi Metropolis. The station, which is owned by Mr. Sylvester Owusu, , a celebrated former Asante Kotoko chairman, incorporated several months ago, made a “soft start-up” about two hours ago “to make sure everything plays well,” a usual practice when a new station hit the air waves. A source at the station told Ray Charles in a phone conversation- “The quality of the station is really, really very good; the technical, the audio quality(we are working on that) and the programming,” he said. “We will try to provide a first-class station for the Ashanti listening area.” Silver 97.5 Fm's coverage area will include parts of the Brong-Ahafo and Eastern Region. Yesterday 26th November 2014 marked another memorable day for sports pundit Ike Owusu Ansah as he celebrated his birthday with the happy family of Metro Fm. P-Square, the Nigerian R&B duo composed of identical twin brothers Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye are mourning their father who passed away on Monday 24 th November 2014. According to reports, the father of the duo, late Pa Okoye recently had a successful knee surgery and was up and about going for physiotherapy when he fell and died.   Sometime past, the Naija R&B twins had a strained relationship with their Dad due to their chosen career. They however amicably solved  their differences and since then, they enjoyed a good relationship until his sudden demise. May he Rest In Peace.
